The Jedi Path: from Youngling to Master

Younglings being promoted to Initiate take part in an Initiation Ceremony, their introduction to the Order and its teachings.
Initiates spend time learning the fundamentals of the Order’s philosophies, self-discipline, lightsaber combat, and the Force.

Initiates who are taken on by a master are promoted to Padawan; Adepts are taken under the wing of their school’s Council. No matter the path chosen, Adepts and Padawans further hone their skills in preparation for the Jedi Trials to become Knights.
One’s Knighting is a moment of great reflection, but it is also one of great joy. Prepared to face the galaxy’s many changes head on, a Knight is entrusted with acting as a representative of the Order wherever their missions take them.

Jedi who are granted the rank Master are few in number. The rank is earned through long-term dedication to the Order, and Masters are known for their mentorship to others in the Order.
